This website is operated by Institute for Policy and Gender Advancement (RC 9652135). By using it you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

Acceptable use

You may read, download, quote and share what we publish. You may not:

• Use the site in a way that breaks the law or infringes another person's rights.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers, or any connected system.
• Introduce malicious code, or attempt to disrupt the site's availability.
• Use automated means to harvest personal data from the site.
• Present our work as your own, or alter it and attribute the altered version to us.

Our content

Unless stated otherwise, the text, design and images on this site belong to the Institute or are used with permission. Our research publications are open access: you are free to read, download, quote and share them with attribution to the named authors.

The IPGA name, logo and tagline are ours. You may reproduce the logo when reporting on or referring to the Institute, using the files and guidance in our press kit. Please do not recolour, redraw or stretch it, or use it in a way that implies we endorse something we do not.

Citing our work

Please cite the named authors rather than the Institute alone. The format we ask for is set out on our publications page. Where a publication carries a DOI, please cite it.

Research is not professional advice

Our publications are policy research. They are not legal, financial, medical or other professional advice, and should not be relied on as a substitute for it. Decisions taken on the basis of our work remain the responsibility of the person or institution taking them.

Links to other sites

Where we link to another organisation, we do so because it is useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.

Availability

We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or withdraw any part of it without notice.

Liability

To the extent permitted by Nigerian law, we are not liable for loss arising from use of this site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the Nigerian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
