Call for Papers opens for Volume 1, Number 1 of the IPGA Journal

The Institute's multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal invites scholars, researchers, practitioners and thought leaders to submit on the theme Gender, Governance, and the Politics of Inclusion in Contemporary Nigeria. Articles of 5,000–7,000 words, APA 7th edition.

IPGA Launch and First International Gender Conference announced

The Institute will formally launch in Keffi, Nasarawa State, combining the launch with the first International Gender Conference. Programme, speakers and the exact date will be published as soon as they are confirmed.

A ten-member Board is in place, drawn from academia, law, accountancy, government and civil society, chaired by Prof. Mohammad Akaro Mainoma. A Technical Advisory Committee is forming alongside it.

It works across four pillars (research and policy analysis, training and capacity building, advocacy and stakeholder engagement, and convening and dialogue) to close the gap between Nigeria's gender research and the people with the power to act on it. IPGA publishes a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal and works with ministries, agencies, universities, civil society and development partners at federal and state level.
